Responsibilities of Lami Academy

• Ensure a Safe Environment: Provide a secure and physically safe space for students.
• Student-Focused Lessons: Create lessons tailored to accommodate the unique needs of each student.
• Comfortable Learning Space: Maintain a safe, comfortable, and fun atmosphere conducive to learning.

Responsibilities of Students & Parents/Guardian

• Willingness to Learn: Approach each session with an open mind and readiness to learn.
• Do Your Best: It’s okay not to know something, but it’s not okay not to try.
• Embrace Growth: Recognize and accept your strengths and weaknesses.
• Punctuality: Arrive at the scheduled time prepared to learn.
• Preparedness: Bring all necessary materials, including homework, to each session.
• Homework Commitment: Complete exercises and activities assigned by the tutor.

Code of Conduct

• Positive Attitude: Bring your best attitude to every session.
• Mutual Respect: All students, teachers, and parents must demonstrate respect for one another.

Class Scheduling

• Routine Scheduling: Weekly class times follow a regular schedule, subject to occasional exceptions.
• Late Arrivals: Classes will still end at the regular time, even if a student arrives late, to avoid delays for subsequent sessions.
• Appointment Responsibility: Students and parents are responsible for managing scheduled appointments.
• Missed Classes: Each session is personalized for your child. Missed classes will not be rescheduled as that time is reserved exclusively for your child, regardless of the reason for the absence.
• Holiday Closures: Parents will be notified in advance via email with alternative dates for rescheduling missed classes.

Cancellation Policy

• Teacher-Initiated Cancellations: If a teacher cancels, a replacement session will be scheduled as soon as possible.
• Student-Initiated Cancellations: Payment is required for all scheduled tutoring sessions, whether the student attends or not.
